Tea, anyone?

Introducing the newest additions to the Tinsel and Teacups range- hand knitted tea cosies...

These are my own original designs, each with their own name and stories behind their creation. When I stumbled upon the idea of selling tea cosies I wanted them to have fun and unique styles.

I have named the first style shown here 'Earthen Tones', for quite obvious reasons. Using a seed stitch pattern, they're worked with two strands of yarn held together to create this colour combination. With a pom-pom perched atop the cosie, they're full of quirky character.

When I chose the yarn for this next style, it somewhat resembled a sheep to me! I once again have worked this cosie with two strands of yarn, to give a mottled pinky-greeny finish. Polished off with a beaded tassel, I have named this one 'Classy Ewe' due to it's resemblance to a very well accessorised sheep!

These tea cosies are available in small ($20) and large ($28) sizes. Handmade with love, and quality workmanship assured.

Let me know what you think of them, I would love your feedback...
